Imprint in leather on door card

Hi all,

Noticed there is a imprint of the side of the dash (when the door is open the side you would see when looking into the car from the side) on the leather section just in front of the speaker grill.

Is this normal? It is only on the driver side.

Same on mine. Think it's normal.
