DIY: blacking out 328i badge

Thought I'd post another DIY, even though there are numerous posts on this. Inspired by Rafstar's DIY: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ight=plastidip

Materials:

-plastidip
-newspaper
-painter's tape
-exacto knife and/or pen cap to peel off plastidip inbetween numbers

ugly chrome

first layer of plastidip

took less than 10 minutes to dry...

2-3 layers later

wait til dry, then begin peeling plastidip around numbers

after peeling carefully w/ pen cap and exacto knife

voila, black 328i badge

Total time: Less than an hour
