I have an aftermarket sound system in my car. Focal - it includes a 6 cd shuttle, an ipod adapter in the boot. It is awesome. I also have an android 8.8" head unit mounted in the navigation bump on the dash. It sounds terrible but I listen to Spotify a lot through the Android device connected to a carplay dongle (wired).

Will this work?

Replace my ipod (iphone 2) with the bovee. Select the bovee as the BT audio out from the android unit. Enjoy functionality of carplay over my great sound system.
I am referring to the 30 pin bovee, not the one that connects to the usb and aux jack. I have ta assume the aux jack is analog stereo and the 30 pin is digital.

Any other ideas?
