Am I entitled to an oil cooler?

Sorry if this has been discussed a million times, but according to my vin number, my car was supposed to have an oil cooler. My car is a late 2006 build e92 335i and i don't have an oil cooler. last time I asked my dealer, I was told that I could only get one installed if i was having issues with overheating. This was before i found out my vin lists one as being installed. And i'm pretty sure my service advisor didn't actually check my vin to see if i was supposed to have it. So the question is, if i go into the dealer and tell them my vin specifies that i have an oil cooler, do they have to honor it and install one?

Why would you want one if you're not having problems? IIRC back then only sport pkg cars had the oil cooler.

If you have sport package, automatic and are original owner yes, otherwise you will need to prove its overheating.
