Outer LCI tail lights on ECS for cheap!

Came across this just surfing ECS's page. It's actually OEM outer tail lights for that price! There are a couple of reviews on that page as well if you want to check them out.

Cheers

The Euro turn signals blink amber instead of red. Otherwise they look the same.

Are you able to change that if you just bought the regular ones?

I just swapped in a pair of these into my '09 LCI Sedan. No complaints. Now I need to tear into the OEM light and see why the LED has failed.

That would be a good idea! or you could call your bmw dealership they probably know. Then you could just fix your old ones and resell them

Yeah, OEM tails sell for some decent money. And I know the LEDs aren't dead, its probably just the stupid solder bridges on the circuit boards.

The repair kit is definitely a better deal since it's the cost of 1 outer taillight. Had to replace my driver side not too long ago.

BMWPartsWarehouse has it for $95.71, which is where I bought mine.

Nope. The LEDs are soldered on and there's not really a way to take apart the tail light to access the LEDs.

People have done it, you just need to be a bit crafty. When I rip into mine I'll make sure to take some pics.
