No, with EWS3 you still need to synchronize the rolling codes. It's only EWS4 that you don't have to.

That's strange! Broken key slot perhaps?

The only way I could help from here is if the person who did the job sent the full dump from both DMEs to make sure everything is right. The other possibility is to delete EWS.

And how do we delete the ews ?

Isnt the key blocked because of the ews system ?
It is blocked at the same time the dme was put in to the car.
Cant get it out without breaking the part i guess

The dme is from a car with automatic transmission, is it possible the keyfob wonít release because the car isn in ďparkĒ ( I have a manual )

That doesn't matter. The car coding for manual vs AT is not in the DME.

No, I don't think the EWS can lock the key in the slot.

Someone told me if doing a swap from 4 to 6 cilinders I need a dsc from a 6 cilinder.

Is this right ? Because the dsc is the one sending the speed signal to the tacho..

I have no idea but that's possible. I don't know why a 6 cylinder DME would change the speedometer signal though. the tachometer signal comes from the DME.

I did change my rear subframe for 1 of a lci, possible the abs sensor is different.
But how do we fix the isn problem ?
Isn is the same from the 4 cilinder dme
Why would ews block it..

If I remember correctly, you can virginize the DME and then re-flash the datafiles while it's in the car and it will accept the ISN from the Car. Takes a BDM rig, but those are cheap these days.

I have a good idea how long it took Hass to develop the EWS delete for the MSV70. Requesting him to give this to you on an open forum is a really really big ask.

So, the dme is on its way to hassmachine.
Now I am worried about the cas module fault A0A9 & A0AF.

Someone knows what this is and if itís related to the ews ?

Would be very shitty if I get my dme back and the cas is dead... so I still canít start the car

( little info ; car was with abs sensors disconnected at the fault read moment )

A quick search on the interwebs for a0a9 and a0af indicate that it could be a faulty CAS.

At least one of the posts had a no start/no crank issue, though another the car still started and ran. so... yes your CAS might be dead/dying.

It also might be okay and something you can ignore.

perhaps one of the times things were removed/installed/disconnected/connected or one of the times that the charging cables were connected or disconnected, enough of a surge went through some signal wires to blow the module.

if you feel like buying and messing about with an r270 eeprom reader, you could buy a used cas module and try dumping and writing the flash chip... https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=8964

With the DME out of the car, do the same errors come up on the CAS, and can you still read but not code?

The CAS has multiple processors on it. My rudimentary understanding is that fault code is generally to indicate that one of the processors isn't getting response from another.
