Retrofit high beam assist

I tried searching but couldn't find much.... has anyone done this?
How easy is it, what was the cost, and which parts are needed?

I do a lot of night driving due to finishing work at 10pm every day, so think it would be a nice mod

I wouldn't bother. I specced it on my m135i and it's too slow IMO

I think it's great but certainly wouldn't go to the aggro of trying to retrofit it. Would be expensive too - you'd need the new mirror housing which incorporates the sensor, a new column stalk which incorporates the switch and then it would all need coding.

Forget it.

Some owners get on ok with it. I think it's too slow to dip and has a mind of its own when the headlights are reflected off certain surfaces.Mine was rolled into adaptive lights, which are brilliant. But i wouldn't pay for HBA as a separate option.

I got it retrofitted in mine.
Just got the mirror of ebay and got it coded at a friend. very easy to fit.
No problem at all and one of the best and easiest retrofits IMHO.
I got the wiring up there already from my sunroof.
