That is a quality weekend and keeper car. Just what I would do if I had the money and garage!

Most definately a future classic.

Thanks Matt. Have you had to have the steering wheel re-trimmed on yours?

Cheers. Yep, all gadgets removed. It's the CSL wheel as the CS has the same M Track mode which is the single button on the wheel.

Nope. I've just steamed it to get rid of all the dirt as the alcantara tends to get a bit sticky over the years. It's absolutely fine now. I have had steering wheels retrimmed by Jack at RoyalSteeringWheels before and he does excellent work.

Picked it up on Saturday morning - WOW! It's absolutely fantastic. I've not had much time to drive it as the weather has been far too nice to turn down BBQ and beer offers but from what I have driven I can say that I love it.

Looks great, looks like a peach you've got there, bet you can't wait to get behind the wheel.

Cheers. It wasn't easy walking past it this morning to get in the E90, might have to take it to work tomorrow

Went out for a quick drive earlier and got some pictures. Spotted two modded E9x's as well, are you on here? One black E92 on gloss black M359's, smoothed front (looked perfect) and private plate and also a black E90, gloss grilles, top of rear window spoiler, 193's, little union jack on boot, '07 plate, also looked mint.

How did I forget that bit. At low speed the SMG is taking some getting used to as it's small pedal input = big output, I hope I can get used to it. When you're pressing on its just a whole different ball game, ear to ear grin all the way to the next gear change and beyond and the handling really is something else, it just gives you so much confidence to keep pushing it. I can see what all of the motoring journalists were talking about in all of the reviews I read on the CS before I took the plunge.

Nice car, but the gasket key ring is even better

Even if it is half hidden by cheap and nasty ones

Thanks

The only other thing on there that isn't a key is my Tesco clubcard. The new one you sent is still in the bubble wrap. I need to sort my keys.

Great car.

Strangely similar to a stock GTR in sound and the way it goes. And the bit that different you can't really access on public roads anyway!

Enjoy

Yes, probably not a good idea to have the keys to all your *valuables* on one ring.
