Help ASAP

Ok this was the weirdest thing to happen to me
I was at a stop light and my car start to act wired as fuck the windshield wipers went crazy all the lights on the dash went on and my navigation screen went off and the car over heated the cooling fans we're off
What I think it is the alternator I put a new battery in replaced that red box above the battery to and also the ground cable
I think it is the alternator
What I have done
Jb4 backend flashed with mhd
5 inch inter cooler
Catch can
Full exhaust with down pipes
Dci
Charge pipe with tial bov

Pls help

Sounds like you have a loose connection somewhere. Maybe back at the battery or i've seen the positive battery cable that goes from the B+ jump under the hood, over the engine and down the to starter. Make sure that's good and tight.

Certainly a power issue, the windshield wipers going on without turning them on is an indication of low voltage. Could be the alternator and the battery ran down - have it tested. It could also be a loose connection - prime suspect would be the wire behind the fusebox if your care was in the recall range for that cable and has not been replaced 2007-2011 https://blog.bavauto.com/13516/bmw-r...e89-13v044000/

Sounds like symptoms of bad voltage regulator. Use voltmeter to check output voltage while engine is idling to confirm, should be around 14.2 volts. There is a positive terminal under the hood that is easy to check to ground.
