"Get a HSV GT-S. Once modified the 335i would still struggle to get close to the HSV"

LOL this guy:

"Come off it.

For a comparable price as the 335i you can get a HSV GT-S. Once modified the 335i would still struggle to get close to the HSV stock."

I don't know what drugs he been taking but he has no idea

He just another commo fan boy

Most likely doesn't even own a hsv anyway so wouldn't have a clue what he's on about
Probably drives a vr with chopped king springs on stockies and uses it for 'skids' lol

Yeah a modded 335i would struggle to keep close, as it would be too easy to leave him behind

my mate has a highly modded R8 with a big S/C and it puts out 500rwkw and it just wheelspins everywhere so even a modded GTS would struggle to be much quicker than stock except for in a straight line over 100km/h once it gains traction....

lol - for a moment i thought Gen F GTS, but man VE GTS no chance at all. This guys on drugs lol.

A Gen F GTS hits 100 in low to mid to 4s and runs the 1/4 in low to mid 12. I would say a FBO 335i would still take lol

I can chime in on both fronts. I owned a HSV VE Clubsport R8 - which has the same engine as the GTS - previous to my 335i. It was stock and going to a stock 335i, the HSV felt a bit slower to 100 but after that, it was HSV. Highway rolling acceleration, the HSV felt effortless in acceleration even in 6th gear at 100kmph. The torque of a V8 is undeniable.

Modified, no questions the 335i was a far better machine in every single way.

My dad also owns the LSA HSV GTS. 430kW of blown muscle, my car with FBO felt about the same but must admit the GTS feels much more composed after 150kmph. Chuck some slicks on the GTS and a light tune, should smoke most 335is without upgraded turbos and E85.

There's no doubt about that with your setup, but like the original thread, what's your point?! This isn't a dick measuring contest over here. Leave that to us cashed up bogans in HSVs. There's just no doubting how formidable the LS series engines are however, especially the current crop. There's also no doubting in the potential in our N54s.

I hate seeing forum threads about someone saying this is better that is faster. A true motorhead admires all machines. I have love for anybody who has love for others. Except Hyundai Excels. I fucking hate Excels.
