Can't wait to see the ams products roll out, I just came across this and am so excited! I have an Evo so I know what kind of stuff comes out of this shop and if you don't have any ideas yet, just hold your breathe because I'm sure it's going to be unbelievable. Subscribed to this thread and a huge fan of ams for life!

A LOT of progress has been made. I have been working closely with them as I am in charge of the CP-e BMW development. We have just about finished up the standback final release software interface and have been back and forth with Eric and Chris at AMS about tuning. They are making GREAT power with conservative tunes.

It's funny you say that. I have been pondering throwing a remote 35r or 37r in my car and just using twin d05 nozzles in the intake manifold with 100% meth as my secondary fueling. The CP-e standback with Profuel Controller with take care of any issues with fuel and meth so I'd be set but I will hold off for a little while. It's just so tempting since I have full access to all tooling, welders, cnc, robotic tig arms I could possibly need. The only thing keeping me from doing it is my 2-3 convos a week with eric and chris on how good things are going over there.

I will leave the pricing announcements up to Eric.

There is NOTHING wrong with a remote setup. It can induce slightly more lag but there are just as many other benefits such as reduced heat in the engine bay.

Regardless of the many possibilities - twin small frame turbos would be a BLAST on this car. I have tuned a twin turbo s4 running twin 2871's and god was that car fast. Power under the curve is a blast.

Well good, thanks. So is it replacement turbos or are the internals of the stock ones changing?

I can't promise anything on pricing however... I was going to come back and edit my post but i'll just do one better and double check with Eric in the morning. I'll text him and I will post back up.

I just talked to Eric. Final pricing is still unknown but basically working on making it as affordable as possible. I can't say if its under 5k or not but I know that I will probably be the first to order them the second he tells me stock comes in.

So i was looking on your site, and the E46 M3 supercharger kit is priced from 8-12K i think...
are we looking at similar prices here? Since you are taking an N/A car and F/Ing it, i would expect the E46 to be more pricey right?

It would be great to receive some sort of ball park numbers from all these tuners. AR design/VF/AMS have posted their plans, but at least a BALL PARK would be nice

A picture of the turbo was posted up by Eric just before new year that they had arrived. That thread is now missing. Not sure why?
The turbos looked good and if I can recall correctly they had a billet compressor wheel with a cut back turbine wheel.
