Late to the game.. but wow... throttle adaptation reset has brought the fun back!
I know that this has been discussed many times, but I just have to say that I tried it for the first time this week and...
WOW! What a difference! My car is fun again! All of the responsiveness is back. If you haven't done it- give it a try... you might like it too! Concise steps:
That is it... enjoy your new found responsiveness. Eventually, you'll need to redo it again, but until then, enjoy. -Ed

Offset did this for me when I had suspension work done, and I didn't notice it for a few days but now I really feel the difference in response. It feels like a mod was added (the way a downpipe or intake changes the behavior and responsiveness of a 335i).
I've also fallen in love with using the paddle shifters and only drive in DS with paddle shifters now. I get nervous and feel awkward when it shifts on its own. Pretty fun and a nice time to start driving that way since the car is adapting to my style. |

Decided to reset my throttle adaptation again after reading this post last night. It's definitely not a placebo effect and even on the freeway this morning driving in DS mode, the downshifts were more responsive but a hint turbo lag was still present. Going to do this more often now!

Everyone is welcome. Please be sure to share your opinions of the change after you have done it.. I'm curious what others think.
