other coilover options for xdrive?.....
was looking on the website below at different e92 options for suspension upgrades....
which of the coilovers is compatible with the xdrive, other than the kw's? it just seems that most reviews are of the kws and i was hoping to get a bit of a comparison... i drive 100% on the road and the car is my daily driver, no track at all... comfort is not a main concern for me but i live in an area with bad roads and so i need to take that into consideration is the ohlins coilover listed there compatible with xdrive? has anyone tried the tckr true match coilovers with koni springs? how would this compare with the kw v3? what about the ast coilover system for xdrive? how would it compare to kw v3? the single adjustable tc kline coilover kit is compatible with the xdrive... how does it compare with the kws? what about camber plates? should they be added when doing coilovers? what is the advantage? basically, i had decided on the kw v3 but i want to make sure there are not any better options for me before i pull the trigger http://hpautowerks.com/ Last edited by miker2013; 10-14-2013 at 01:59 PM.. |

ok so i have narrowed it down to either the kw v3s or the tckr/koni single adjustable
am going to go with 400/600 springs and am running stock camber and rft help me decide... did anyone get the kw and wish they had the tckr? or vice versa? |

Only downside to kw v3 is progressive front springs which take up room for inner tjre/wheeel clearance. If ur not planning on going square setup or wide up front then there is no downside to them. You could get kae v3 with swift spring conversion from hpautowerks

I was told by another informed person that the springs on the v3 are too soft for the xi which is he suggested the tckr kline koni I looked at the swift conversion for the v3 but when that gets added to the v3, its getting a tad pricey just for daily driver coilovers |

I have AST's with swift springs. They are great, not in the same league as V1. You can choose what springs you want. I have 400/800

I am looking forward to Fortune Auto's coilovers for the x drive. Coming from the Evo community, they are a great coilover. I dont know if it was here, or somewhere else, but they are supposed to start producing for the x drives soon.
