What's a decent price to update all injectors?

Owned for two weeks and I already need the injectors updated

Misfires on cold starts and throws a CEL with a rough idle, replaced the plugs today but one was pretty black.

What's a good total price for parts and install? They're quoting me about $1600. They being AR Design in Denver.

I searched so stfu, you put "injectors" on this board and everything in the world pops up. Thanks.

Lol stfu huh? Nice, anyways, if you did research you'd see injectors are about $165/ea and that you need 6 if you're replacing them all. So i think that $1600 is fair, parts + few hours of labor.

Im curious what kind of troubleshooting/diagnosis was used to come to this determination though. Injectors are usually last to go. Miles?

Yeah sorry about the "stfu" I just have a strong hatred for the Search Trolls.

It threw a code a few weeks ago, prior to my JB4 install, they moved the coils around to see if it was a coilpack issue and it's misfiring at different places today. They said they could tell by one of the plugs being black too.

What do you think about these over the 2011 OEM injectors?

I don't know about what's better over OEM honestly. I'm not tuned. Plan on staying mostly OEM.

It's hard to tell what they did. I mean the symptom you have "seems" like a plug/coils or carbon issue.
Do you know when your coils and plugs were last changed?

Ever had a carbon cleaning on your intake valves?

Im doing some other stuff first, i just got it so we'll see.

Wheels m359's, m3 bumpers, sideskirts. paint restore.

Eventually though i might get a cobb. First though i want to upgrade intake, fmic, downpipes, and exhaust and cp. All before the cobb.

Are you sure the coils are good you can get a set for $300-350 I would check that before spending $1600 on injectors

Need to check the codes! Do some more troubleshooting, maybe only replace the failing bank of injectors.

It's going to a good shop over here, I have the old injectors so all of them have to be replaced. I drove to work today in a cloud of smoke down the highway, fun stuff.

I think updated injectors cost more, had them replaced under warranty (3rd party) once was about 200 bucks per injector, then did it again and the price jumped to like 400 per updated injector:/ had a battle with warranty company because of the price increase. Parts were coming directly from BMW though

I just got injectors done at an indy shop.. $200 to install/code 3 injectors and $480 for the parts... total of $680.. x 2 = $1360... $1600 seems a bit high
