gas door won't open

So the power locks won't work on the car. I've had this situation fixed before -- they had to replace a fuse. It has now happened again only I'm almost out of gas. As a result of the power locks not working, the gas door won't open and I'm not able to put in any gas. Is there a way to manually open the gas door without breaking it? This is ridiculous.

open the trunk.
on the right hand side there should be a panel to access the battery
remove that
there should be a green button looking thing attached to a green wire
pull that
should open your gas door

Yes, pull off the panel from inside the right side of the trunk. There should be a green plastic wire. It is the manual release for the gas door. The very same thing happened to me when i first got my E90 a few years back.

You'd think they'd have that information in the owners manual...
