335 detectives I need your help

I just posted in the main forum about swapping a 335 manual into my wagon. I bought a copart donor that is already modded. It's probably a week from getting here to the house but my anticipation is killing me of what I actually bought. I only have the auction pictures to go on.

I'm new to BMW from VW/Audi so I don't recognize manufacturer's parts on this motor. Anyone recognize any details on this motor? Looks like some sort of intercooler and intake but I'm used to seeing the dual cones on builds I've looked at.

Anyone see anything that looks quality here? Or maybe the car? It's coming out of TN. There is a Fuel It sticker on one of the windows.

I see a aftermarket blow off valve. So probably upgraded charge pipe too.
I also see the stett cold air intake which is awesome. Probably the most effective intake you can get for the N54.
It also looks to have the optional oil cooler which is good too.
If you are looking to sell that intake just let me know

OK thanks bimmer_bro. Stett yes I see it now when searching. Hopefully it fits with the M3 rep bumper I bought! I see it sucks air from behind one of the grills.

I'll get through the car and figure out what I'm going to part out and what to keep. Everything else on the car is going to be parted, I really just want the motor/trans combo.

It should still fit. Sits inside the fender. You can see the power steering reservoir has been zipped tied out of the way. It usually sits where the Stett intake goes down to the fender.

I believe they're M wheels off F series M5

Edit, they are rep M2 wheels. Two of them are not in good shape, 19 x 8.5

OK have the car home and starting to pull it apart for the swap. So far it looks like maybe the previous owner bought the burger 500hp kit or made their own version.
I have Burger catch cans, Stett intake, some intercooler, charge pipe, catless downpipes and a JB4 inside the DME box. No idea on the turbos yet. Once I drop the subframe and steering rack hopefully that becomes evident. It's still on 01 injectors which surprised me.

Index 01 injectors are actually the best ones to have, assuming they're not leaking right now. They are the most reliable and long-lived. I have an 07 335i with 128k miles rocking index 01's. They're great. The stepped intercooler is probably about as good as you can do for the standard e9x offerings, assuming it's an HD core. Since they opted for the Stett intake it's likely the other bolt-ons are quality.

To OP TyroneShoelaces, I replied to you question about injectors in another thread. Didn't realize you were new to BMW - kudos to you for taking on a helluva job with the engine/tranny swap being a noob to the E9X. Pouring one out for you - you got moxie, kid....

Ha, coming from VW/Audi the mechanical side of this should be fine. It's the coding part of this E91 N54 swap that's going to be my elephant to eat.

But look at all the clean air it's getting!!
I may do a relocated inlets to where the coolant resevior is. In my mind having things grouped closest to where they do their business makes more sense.
