Index 12 Injectors

Hi guys,

I've found Index 12 injectors for about £235 each on other websites but Amazon selling them for ~ £54 each.

Are these genuine Index 12 injectors?

I'm guessing they are not lol.

Well you have to buy them! Let us know! And then get your money back when they're inevitably fake/used/crap.

Yaa I'm not sure if the 'Fltaheroo' kangaroo wannabe brand is an OEM supplier or not

Often times OEM parts with the BMW logo have a huge markup, but they can also be found direct from the supplier without such a markup.

For example wheel bearings for my Audi are $250 from Audi, but only like $100 from F.A.G whom is the OEM supplier.

That is only in the case of them being the actual OE manufacturer. The OE manufacturer for our injectors is Piezo, not some "Fltaheroo"

This also applies to every car on the planet, not just Audi. Buy lemforder suspension parts, they just have the BMW logo ground off. Buy pierburg boost solenoids, same deal there. There is almost never a need to buy a true "genuine" part.

You're absolutely correct. This is going to sound crazy, and feel free to call me so, but when I began my research before buying my N54, I came across piezo being referred to as the brand and I even looked them up. I swear to you I found a website and everything, currently trying to do so and am having no luck

. Well, that's my mistake. Either way, what I said still stands, the injectors in question are not from the OEM.

Why does bmw always jack up their prices like this. I'm still salty about my index 12's. Could damn near buy a whole car for the price of these stupid injectors

The bmw logo has been grind off. Only Continental manufacturer these. These are probably reconditioned injectors or injectors that didn’t passed quality control by bmw and are being sold now as new.

for a stressed DI engine like this , the last thing I'd cheap out on would be the injectors.
If you have been aware of the counterfeit trends, some say the market is being flooded with old blown out early index injectors that have been relabeled and sold as index 12.
IMHO its either FCPEuro or OEM for something like that. Stay clear of the amazon sellers they are worse than ebay.

Does the lifetime warranty apply to UK purchases or only US?

I don't see why it wouldn't be applied to UK purchases, but you should probably contact fcp to be sure.

The price has gone up a lot just in the past 2 months. They're $275 each now. They were about $215 back in March before I found my e92.

I'm still running index 1 injectors

Only 4000 miles on the car tho

Think I'll be ok for a bit?
