N54 Vanos

What are the best Vanos to throw in? Aftermarket or OEM?

My current ones are causing limp mode and stuck in 3rd gear the odd time. Although they are fairly new they were just cheap so looking to get a higher quality set.

When it comes to stock replacement parts.....oem is usually is the right choice. There is a reason the aftermarket stuff is so cheap.....and unreliable.

I bought oem from ECS, they are cheaper than some of the other places but still claim to be OEM.

Buy from fcpeuro and you can't go wrong.
