Car leaking, unidentified part.

Any one know what this is and why it would be leaking, ty.(2008 e92 335xi)

Really can't tell in the photos but looks like it would be the oil pan gasket or the rear main.

I would agree, it looks like the oil pan gasket or rear main seal has been leaking badly.

You're lucky it's an xi. OPG replacement is a breeze

It's an oil pan, and it's leaking because it's a BMW.
