I have had it for 5 months, installed for 4 days lol...durability I am not worries about. The clamps are tough and the silicone looks clean. Silicon holds up very well to wear which is why I went with MaxPSI's silicon chargepipes in my F80.

The only thing in question will be the carbon fiber, but the pieces felt very well built so only time will tell with that. The only thing I will is that there weren't so many pieces to clamp together.

Located in the same spot as stock (on the rearmost cf piece). I ran it two days with no tune and car ran smooth, no issues.

What filter size does it even use? Is it washable?

So to run this on an N55 with MHD flash only, is there anything that needs to be done about the MAF scaling? Need a custom flash? Or do you run some procedure to make it scare to this new intake?

I had the same experience as the member above, ran it 9 months now no scaling or any issues. I ran it stock for 7 and then 2 months with PPK. Also had it with JB4 for a week with no issues though removed JB4.

so i remember these types of filters, i'm trying to find them on ebay again. i used to see them on ebay 10 years ago. a cone filter in a tube. the rest is just elbows and small tubes. $340 is over priced

kinda like this. they used to be cheap on ebay,

That's an open filter. Susceptible to heat soak which will decarease power. The mdesign is sealed. Shouldn't suffer from heat soak. Has a greater flowing filter so it should result in a small power bump

Loving mine still...car is running very healthy with it. No hiccups and smooth, strong pulls.

Lining the inside of the intake with 3M heat reflection is an interesting touch...
Looks like simota cold air intake

No gains to report. You must get a custom tune to rescale the MAF or you'll get a cel and rough irregular idle with this intake. Don't over oil it either. That can affect the MAF. Probably the most irrelevant mod I've done. But now that it's installed and working it's fine.
