2011 E90 XDrive Tire Rubbing Issues
Im on a 2011 e90 x drive.
I plan to add KW1 coilovers and Michelin Pilot AS 3 tires. Im on stock 225/45/17 all the way around and hate the thin tire look. I am running 12mm / 15mm spacers front/back to help with this. I am looking for the most aggressive stance to avoid rubbing and a lot of fender rolling. I don't mind a little to help with clearance. From searching numerous threads you can run staggered as long as its less than 1% diameter difference. Will 245/40/18 and 275/35/18 fit with coilovers? How much fender rolling in the front to make 245 tire width fit? What offset would be best for the rims in this situation?

235/40/18 18x8.5 +35 & 265/35/18 18x9.5 +43 are known for sure to fit without modification. That's what I'd personally run.
No need to put yourself in some situation where you are worrying about rubbing for no reason. |
