Any comments on my first logged run? I have 6AT, so I had a 3rd gear run, but had to start a bit higher in rpm and roll on the throttle a bit at first to keep it from downshifting to 2nd. I stopped just short of redline so I didnt rear end the car on the highway.

?? The horizontal axis is time (seconds). The top graph shows the RPM vs. Time...so I am getting about 15psi+ around 5k. 4700rpm to 5300rpm...then it drops to 13psi by 6000rpm. My peak per the log is 15.9psi at 4875rpm. The autotune boost set point is 15.8psi...I am told that is pretty much the max due to restriction and heat in this motor unless I get DP....exhaust would help...FMIC would help...etc.
Any other comments on AFR or Ign Adv? I have fuel correction but didnt graph it. Robert thought it looked spot on. |

well to me it looks like your pulling major timing at about 2.5 sec. in where it looks like a 2 deg drop if not more. Being under 5 to me is very low for ign. advance. May just be due to your car being stock with increased boost.
Personally i'd like to see my boost curve hug the boost control set point a little better. Looking at your graph and seeing that the boost struggles to get there mid pull and barely touches means its a little high. Generally you want to get to that point asap and hug it all the way across the pull. @ about 5K you can see the turbo just runs out of steam and starts decreasing... I would set the boost control set point closer to 14psi for now and see if your ignition increases a little towards to the 10 mark. |

In my data, I logged Ignition Correction and it is 0...until 4300rpm in my runs where it is -0.25. Thats it...I didnt logged DME Ign Adv, only CAN Actual. If I am set at 100% Ign correction (default as it says), wouldnt it have a larger correction? And since it does not, why is my CAN Actual Adv so low? |

Just got my rev3 installed. What a nightmare trying to get Windows 7 to work with the USB cable. After finding out the used laptop I bought either has a bad validation code, or something going on with the version of windows in it (I can't install an XP mode), I had to wipe the whole thing and install an old version of XP that I have.
Everything is working now but my logs on map1 didn't look so good. I'm not getting much if any timing. I've done about 6 WOT pulls in 3rd gear so I would thing autotuning should have done it's thing. I'm getting 8psi right away, then a pause for a second or so, then it climbs to 13.5psi (target boost). I'm going to log some map0 to make sure everything runs well on the stock map, but I have a few questions: Where in the user software can I adjust the min/max's of the graphs that are displayed? For example, if the important part of the pull is from 10 seconds to 29 seconds, how do I shorten that from the 1min+ of log displayed? |

Press Up/Down arrow to zoom in/out around where the mouse is. Also you can place two markers (with right mouse click) and then with the Data menu, zoom that area. |

Thanks, will do. I'm using map1, good 93 octane gas (shell). I believe the only user adjustable I changed was the "start boost in" I changed to 50% to try to get rid of that delay in boost response, but shouldn't that go away with autotuning naturally? I think I also have my wastegate position at 100%.

Kalud helped me sort out my boost delay. I'll be taking logs (haha... 12 year old humor) tomorrow on my day off to sort out my timing. Curious, eyim, how your logs turned out pre-downpipe. I have a gut feeling my stock downpipe may be restricting my ability to get a smooth powerband because of heat, etc... Any logs to share? |

Yeah the ic made a huge difference in terms of consistency in performance. Its very good in getting rid of the high temps as well as increasing the flow in your entire system. Responsiveness also increased when you couple that with a quality CP. I don't know if you've ever seen how stupidly restrictive the stock connections and end tanks are on our stocker! |
