window tint problem on coupe?
I have a 328 coupe, and my driver side window bottom right of window (if sitting on in car) the tint is peeling.
I am wondering is this normal on the coupes since the window moves up and down every time door closes, or did the guy do a poor quality job on the window? my driver side window is fine. |

I think the shop did a poor job....Even though the coupe windows go up and down, the sedans open and close windows. Not as often of course but it shouldn't be peeling.
If anything, you should see scratches because of the up and down movement....not peeling. Usually tint will come with a warranty. Have you talked to your shop? |

take it back to the shop, it is the shop's fault not the car

That sounds like somebody is pocketing the cash. A professional shop, with a warranty, regardless of how you pay, is the way to go. This is along the lines of "You get what you pay for" it would seem.

I hope you didn't lower the window at a drive-thru or anything after you got your tint. You're supposed to let it be for a week or two for the adhesive to fully cure

I wouldn't worry about it, take it to a shop that has good reviews in your area. Most reputable shops will offer a warranty so if it peels because of that, you can have them redo it. I have never waited more than about 4 hours before rolling down my windows, but I always turn my heat in my garage way up and have had 6 cars tinted and never had one tint or bubble. Depends on the quality of products that are used and how well/poorly they are installed.
