Matte Black or Gloss Black...That is the question!

I have an appointment this saturday to have my car's window trim and roof painted and my mtech rear bumper installed...i wanted to go with gloss black originally and the shop is constantly telling me that matte black is going to be better because glossy black gets scratched easily and will look bad in the future...

i like matte black because its more classy and all but because of the moonroof i thought it would look awkward....does anyone have a matte black roof pictures that you can post for me? thanks in advance!!

my car is alpine white e92 fyi

gloss black ftw bro....i have gloss back and its almost a year now and it looks great. Flows well with tinted windows. Looks like a panoramic roof

Sej I say go with gloss if your gonna do your roof too. It'll flow nicer because of the sunroof. And I'm not sure what shop your talking about but matte paint is softer and more easily damaged. Gloss paint with a good clear coat should be well protected...

go with gloss black. I have gloss black roof w/ sunroof and shadowline trim which is kinda glossy black, and tinted windows, it flows together perfectly
