Am I gettining jerked on this 335 deal?
I know that this has been covered before but my car is at the prep center, time is short
I live in NY and have been reading allot. I didnt know all these things prior to ordering the car. I just want to know if I am getting ripped off. Or getting am okay deal:dunno:. I negitiated on the MSRP, well didnt really negotiate on a 335! Options 6SPD, Sport Pack, PDC, Comfort Access, Leather, SAT. $1200 off MSRP 36 mo 15k Tax rolled in Monthly Payment $710 Out the door $2,262, Aquisition fee 625, Sec Dep 749, First Month Can anyone figure out what my MF and residule would be? I think MF is .2, and resid is 58%. What can I change at this point if I set the price already. Can I go back to the dealer after I orderd the car and say I want a better deal because the one you gave me is crappy? Am I getting jerked here? Also thinking of changing the term to 30 month, if I can get it! Any help greatly appreciated. |

Tell me what is the MSRP on your car and the tax rate where you live I can tell you what you should be paying a month with 0 down.
By 0 down I mean nothing besides the acc. fee, security and 1st mo payment. |

if you did in fact get 1200 off MSRP then with 58% residual and .002 as money factor (which are correct captive BMW rates as far as I know) you should have a payment of $703/mo.
625 + 703 + 750 + title/regi,etc due at signing. so.. looks close |

In the same ballpark as you from Manhattan BMW, I'm paying $740 or so with a few more options but only 12k per year, also 36k.

When I see these numbers, my wheels start turning, imagine if I could turn around and lease out my car when I get it? Then I could play the spread between my buy pymt and the lease pymt--that's how much my cash (downpay) would be earning...OUCH. A $220/mo revenue stream....simple interest I'm just north of 10% return. Just on a one-on-one basis, my risk would be through the roof....but if I were a leasing co....nice.

I spoke to the guy that sold me my car at Rallye. He said typical lease rates were high 6's low 7's. Seems about right
