Heres a thought. A very prnounced lip, protrusion around the edge like the E46 M3 diffusers may give a nice agressive look and allow for deeper fins.

I agree these are very cool - and I could do something for the m-tech rear like this. The standard bumper just doesn't give you enough to work with

have you seen the diffusers that go on the Subaru wrx/sti or the evo's
Where the fins are basically under the bumper ? Almost like the pics of that e46 m3.

cool and all, but that requires cutting your bumper. no way a slap on diffuser is going to look like that

If this look could be obtained I would gladly hack my stock bumper!

Sorry I've been a bit absent guys. Will have an update on Monday. Haven't had a chance to get to the moulders this week. But what you can expect is some pics of what the fins are going to look like as well as a dual opening version for a quad setup. Perhaps not the final pieces, but at least the patterns for the moulds.
Will update first thing on Monday morning! |

Teaser pic - single side opening with fins!
This is the pattern that's being made for the mould. Will probably have something more to show you on Friday. Questions / comments? I think it looks much better than my rendering Klove and the gang interested in one with a straighter cut to more closely match the lines of the bumper - will also have an update on Friday... |

With regard to when it'll be ready. I'd say all 4 will be 100% ready within the next month or two. Will update as and when each one becomes available. |

Wow!!! I'm so happy I came across this thread! I've been thinking that someone needs to come up with this solution and here it is in the works! BIG ups to Irg5 for tackling this. I can't wait for the finished product! Would love to spring for an Mtech rear w/diffuser but that is a pricey mod. Really hoping this option stays within a reasonable range.
Assuming fitment is spot on, price is reasonable...add me to the list! Keep up the good work. Subscribed |

Thanks I think it looks great with the fins. Will this diffuser still have lip around the outside and around the exhaust cut outs?
