M3 Side Skirts - Too aggressive for OEM 189 wheels?

So I want to go ahead and get my M3 Side Skirts, but I still haven't fully decided on a set of wheels or found a set to buy.

DO you guys think the M3 sides would look too aggressive on a black sapphire e92 with OEM 189's?

I have front aero lip, m3 lip spoiler and ACS roof spoiler to accompany the m3 sides. I just feel it might not flow well without wheels.

Definitely not, go for it. M3 side skirts aren't that aggressive

edit: but yes, wheels would be a nice plus..

I think it would look really good with 189's.

I assume you are looking for an excuse to get new wheels, so I'll support your position.
If you go with M3 side skirts, you definitely NEED to get new wheels!

189s are actually great looking 18s, IMO. The M3 skirts will do nothing but enhance the look of the car even if you don't change wheels.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I am going to get wheels for sure, I just haven't picked up a deal on them, but I found a good deal on the m3 side skirts so I wanted to buy them.

And you guys know how it is, there's no way I'm gonna be the m3 sides and then wait for wheels before I install them, the same day I get them I'm gonna be smacking them on haha.

And damn, you can hardly tell the M3 sides are even there on a black car... is it that subtle in person too? I love the way they look on alpine white

Yeah I've seen em and it's very subtle... M3 is one of the few cars I would take in white over black! Every car sitting on my driveway and in my garage right now is black, but when I see those M3 side skirts I can't help but think of alpine white haha.

I love 189's, but if you have M3 sideskirts, I think VMRs would definitely look better.

Wheels are a must, had the 189's they look small after the skirts go on. It's like a hot woman wearing a short skirt and flats

perfect timing as I saw one yesterday. Alpine White E92 with M-tech rear bumper and M3 skirts and 189 wheels. With stock wheels and suspension, I felt the skirts were out of place because white shows the lines too much.

but your car is black so I would definitely DO IT!
