CIC dead after disconnecting my battery for an hour

I disconnected the negative terminal of my battery to safely pull the airbag and steering wheel off my 2008 335i yesterday while I was looking for the cause ofr a squeeky steering wheel. Anyway after reinstalling everything and reconnecting the battery my CIC system is dead. This is a system I transplanted from a 2009 E90 several months ago and added a combox, and a cheap nav. "activator box" to make the navigation function work. I have had no problems with the system until now. I actually unplugged the battery a week ago to replace my alternator regulator/brush assy. and had no issues then. Not sure what to try. Did pulling and reconnecting the battery possibly blow a fuse somewhere?
