EBC Pads/Discs - CAR & MOTORCYLE 30% OFF RRP - 335 OPTIONS/PRICES on first post

As you might know i organised a group buy for a few people last time, for EBC pads. See here http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=820325

I got the yellowstuff pads, and they are now bedded in. The bite is amazing and feels a lot better than the standard pads, which aren't really made for hard braking. A lot less brake fade

Anyways I thought it might be good to organise another one. The offer is the same, its 30% off the RRP. You can use this discount for any of the EBC pads (red, yellow etc). You just need to be sure about the part number.

How do i find out what part numbers i need for my car, and also the cost to me after this discount?

Well go to this website www.ebcbrakesdirect.com and enter your vehicle registration number. Then a list of available parts are shown. Here is mine as an example:

The figures circled in blue are the RRPs. You can also see the corresponding part numbers to the left, starting with DP.... To calculate how much it will cost you including discount and VAT, multiply the RRP by 0.7 and then 1.2. For example for part DO42006R, the cost after discount and VAT would be £103.98.

Shipping is £10 for pads. Next dat delivery by UPS. If you order pads and discs shipping is free

For you 335 guys. RRP for a full set of Ultimax discs (slotted) and yellowstuff pads is £724. With discount you can get this great match for £507.

If you want standard oem quality level EBC discs and yellowstuff pads its £390.

If you want just yellow pads its £170
Just provide me with the part numbers you require.

Do they really slow the car that much more? I am considering some yellow pads.

Yep once they bed in they are great. Bite from cold is a lot better and brake fade has lowered. I get zero brake squeel as i followed the bed in procedure. IIRC yellow pads for a 335i/d are £161.84 after discount and incl VAT.

You're on top of the list

I'll speak to my contact tomorrow and ask if i can order pads as and when, instead of waiting for batches of 5. Hopefully he will be alright with that.

I'm not in a mad rush so happy to wait for a batch tbh, either way I'm happy.

I don't have any first hand experience on EBC disks, but from what i know the OEM ones are a great match to the EBC pads.

STAY AWAY FROM EBC DISCS.

They Crack, Warp etc... on our heavier bimmers.

They are ok for smaller lighter cars

Sure. Could you just check the part numbers on that website with your reg please. I think E93 are the same as E92 but not sure.

Edit: Dont worry i've checked for an E93 335i and its the same parts. Added you on the list.

Ok i've added that part. I'm just not sure how many brake sensors come with that part number. It says complete axle set, but that could mean just one sensor (as there is one sensor per axle). Do you need front and rear?

You should have gone for red/yellow pads for a 335i. Green stuff pads are suited for cars up to 200bhp! (Assuming you went for the 2000 series).

I don't know how many sensors are needed but would like to replace all when I do the pads.

I really would not put greenstuff on a 335I or D. They cannot cope with 250bhp 1 tonne car let alone what your pushing out and weight. I used to set them on fire so easily. Yellows were so much better.

Bump

Omar: I will find out how many come in the pack. You need a total of 2 sensors.
