glow plug controller update

hi guys will be replacing the glow plug controller tommoz has anybody had to update the engine software after ??

No, straight swap on mine. 2 bolts, 2 connectors (N57 325d). Very much plug and play.

How difficult was this job to do?

Had my 330d serviced and despite not having any error codes the garage couldn't seem to get any signal from the controller, I also have a rough idle on initial startup on a cold engine so I'm thinking this is the issue.

Failed controller and / or plugs will show an error code.

Does anyone what the connector is on the controller? Can’t seem to find the clips to release them.
