IDrive Controller and Oil Level

OK, so my IDrive controller has stopped working and I was wondering if there is another way that I could check my oil level like maybe through the OBC Stalk or something? Thanks for any help

Use the dial on the OBC stalk to select “Oil Level” and then press BC to start the level check.

Odd. My car has iDrive. CIC though.

He has IS so definitely should have CIC as well.
