Cool

Are you still taking your car to the stealership!? I hope not... If so, that is the problem for sure...

Dear god man I moan about how my car chews up rear tires adding on like 5 CENTS per mile in costs....and yeah tires are my main maintenance item.

Your car costs nearly $2 - TWO DOLLARS - PER MILE - to fix.... 767s costs that much to operate, and theyre boeing jets not bimmers

PS about 160k on mine
Yes its probably cheaper to own a private plane.

And theres a fault code that keeps going and coming for the "passive go" system.

I'm just so tired of one thing after another, it takes about 45mins-1 hour to go to a nearby dealer, and I've had to take days off from work just to wait 3, sometimes 4 hours in service.

This just doesnt make any sense.

I think you are being taken for a ride, they know you will authorize any repair they suggest. How much of that really was necessary?

My SA told me I had oil leaks but actually said not to fix them - they weren't that bad.

And you need to seriously look into why your warranty isn't paying more. Like your tire sensors, you need to push hard to get your money back.

If your dealer says something is wrong, ask them for the codes and the diagnostic report, and come post it here for advice before you authorize another repair.

I have an excellent extended warranty. I suppose you should have read that contract carefully. I have had to repair many things on my 335is, none are out of the norm for an e9X car though. All the normal things:
HPFP x2
LPFP
6 injectors
6 coils
spark plugs
valve cover
muffler flapper

If it's 2010 or older, count on the water pump failing too. You don't have a lemon, those are normal things that go wrong with these cars. If you didn't know that ahead of time, you should have probably done some reading before buying a modern BMW.

Your oil level sensor should be under a warranty from BMW since it was already replaced. If it's failed again, they should be replacing that for free.

UPDATE:

Might as well say we are at $12k-15k in a few months after a year of ownership.

I smell oil, and the engine has been getting really hot lately. The oil light came on to top, so I guess a VCG is in the works?

Plus, since the purchase of this vehicle, I have heard a slight rattle noise around start. Found out thats early signs of wastegate rattle (BMW refuses to honor because I had about 5-6 months from purhcasing the car of extended warranty they offered left).

And the TPMS sensor inactive is coming on.
