Ok so after a bit of digging I think I've found what looks to be a pretty handy resource.....

It says that the engine oil capacity is 7.2ltrs (N57) which is fine until you find that the F10 5 series with EXACTLY the same engine apparently has a capacity of 6.5ltrs....

You'd think the oil capacity would be solid information but it simply isn't.... There is a variance of 1 litre depending on where you get your info, ranging from 6.5 to 7.5 litres.

I'll just go on my previous oil change at around 7 litres and just monitor it, fortunately this engine still has a dipstick as the OBC seems overly sensitive....
