Simon fitted my combox for me as well, As I live in Southampton he came to my Office and fitted it while I was at work, only took him a couple of hours. When he finished you would not even known he'd been there, the Job was clean and tidy. I think it was his first fit for an E89 (Z4) as he had to use a piece of his own kit for the fibre, to extend it.
If anyone asks me I would have nothing but praise for him and his work is first class.
He had previously updated the firmware on my CIC that the Stealers told me could not be done. He updated very module in my car, he has all the equipment and was at my place for 8 Hours that was another Great job........

I'm another with high praise for Simon.... the weekend just gone he arrived at my place at 6.30am and spent until 8.30pm retrofitting the following to my E84

Cruise Control
Folding, auto-dimming wing mirrors
Combox
Sat Nav map updates

as well as the biggie... a full 6NR retrofit including media base, media dock, all cabling and coding.
this was a huge job, requiring a fair amount of the interior to be removed but as above, once finished you'd never have known he'd been there.

Does Simon supply the kit too or do you have to buy it all yourself then get him to fit/code it? I'm looking at changing the CCC in my car to CIC but I live in NI so would have to fit it myself. I'm happy to do this but its getting it coded to my car where the problem lays.

I had mine set up thanks to Litany who did a great job in no time fitting the USB audio. Now works wonder. The software was also updated so I have extra features that I did not know could be done. Great job and would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone in the future.

Simon supplied the Combox and various cables but I supplied the mirrors and cruise parts, he fitted them.

Drop him a message, I'm sure he'll help you if he can.

Hi Simon. I've just been searching the web and found this thread. I'm new to the forum and don't know how to message you privately, or know if I even can. Please could you message me in regards to retrofitting a combox into a 2009 3 series. I currently have Bluetooth for calls but not audio streaming. I'd love to have the interface I've seen screen shot above as it looks a lot more aesthetically pleasing.

Regards,
Matt

Hi simon,

I’m new to this and not sure how to PM you, not even sure if you will see this post as the thread is quite old. I am interested in getting a combo box fitted into my BMW 320d 2012. Right now I can only play music through AUX and the steering wheel doesn’t work to change song etc. Not ideal as I would get pulled over and points on license for wanting to listen to a different song! I have read how you’ve helped everyone and I’m hoping you would be able to help me too, so I can listen to music via Bluetooth (can only have phone conversations) I am based in Wimbledon and don’t mind travelling to wherever

Really hope to hear from you soon pal,

Hey,

Sorry for the bump !

I have succesfully retrofitted Cic and combox to my e91.
This week i get my FSC 9c code for BMW apps.
The one thing i want is use spotify on my car but in every video i watch people connect there phone and use the BMW connected drive app for this option.
I downloaded the BMW connected drive app but cant use iT because my vin isnt prepared for BMW connected drive.
How the hell do i fix this ?
