$1,200 to burn.......?
I have 1200 to burn here in a week, wanting to get something substantial for my babe Lola (2006 325xi). I already have a chip tune by UPsolute, I am thinking intake/exhaust or some hyper black csl type wheels. I am leaning more towards an aggressive exhaust, full cat back of course. Any suggestions?

I went to the BMW delership and they said they did not make the performance exhaust for my car, bastads! I know what I need to get if I get kw's. Those are in the top two. If I get the exhaust for somewhere, you saying get a muffler shop to add quads by custom?

If you chip a car before all the performance mods (i.e. exhaust, intake, etc.) don't you have to re-chip it so the mod re-adjusts to the new mods? just wondering because i'm planning to get a tune from oe tuning around the end of the year. thanks

As I understand it, that's how it is supposed to work, but if it were me, I'd get the mods first, drive a few hundred miles, then have them flash your ECU, because the file they'll get and modify will show slightly different variables than a stock ECU would because of the mods, so they may or may not have specific changes that they can make to take advantage of what they see. Best to contact the chip/flash company directly though.

Realistically instead of spending 1200 on anything n52 related, I would buy your wife of gf something nice like a coach purse and some sunglasses and take her out one night. Happy wife happy life you'll get more enjoyment out of it lol

Get an intake. Performance wise you wont get much but it sounds AMAZING. I put mine in yesterday and I left my neighborhood with a grin from ear to ear

Thanks for the info, my girl is getting a week in coco beach and an engagement ring so she is good, don't need a 330I, I also have an e39 540 for my power needs so I am good. I am curious though about the custom exhaust. How custom, buy an exhaust and get them to do what?
