Currently running 750/1 HD on two 12w3s and will be upgrading to 2 12w6s soon. Just wanting to get some advice on 1200/1 HD vs Slashv3. They both look similar in tech/features so I'm wondering why they'd make two classes of amps that are so similar.

Slash was introduced in 1999 and has gone through at least 3 upgrades. 2020 will be the final year of production for Slash amplifiers.

HD amplifiers were introduced in 2008 and will remain in production.

They are both good amps but I might lean towards the HD for newer technology, cooler running and a much smaller footprint.

I think Slash 1200/1 could be a nice option. Its built is good and I also personally like it.
