Most power for E85 even 93? MHD, JB4

Hello everyone before posting this I looked around everywhere to see if I didnt have to make this post but all the information I found was either old or for an n54, anyways I am finally getting my 2011 335i back on Tuesday after more then 1 year!

During that time an engine swap was done and my JB4 that I had on the car no longer works with it I need the different harness.

A lot of people are telling my to move to MHD which was sort of my plan it was to do JB4 with MHD BEF but since I have none now I want to get one or the other,

basically I want the one that will give me most power with 93 oct but mainly with e85, I cant run more then e30 mix yet so for you guys which do you think would be better? if you guys do recommend jb4 eventually I will get a bef, also my car has all the bolt ons for e85 stage 3 so we are good there.

Thanks!

sorry if this post is repetitive.

Also selling my harness A JB4 since it does not fit anymore ($250)

Go for MHD and get a custom tune for the E30 mix or just use the E30 OTS map

I have had both for years. I have learned to hate the JB4. It isn't smooth and always seems like you need to tinker with it some more to get it just right. I have not ran MHD in a couple years but will be pulling the JB4 off and going MHD only again once I get my PS2 installed again.

I will say that, at least back when it was first launched, that I had worse timing with MHD installed, both as a BEF and as a standalone flash.

JB4 only
JB4 Cobb BEF
JB4 MHD BEF
MHD only custom tune
