It's bigger than the R231 in every dimension, never mind the R230. Love the R232 but I'd take the outgoing GTC roadster over it given the SLS connection (long hood) and Aventador-rivaling width.

Only problem is the GT rides a lot rougher, the SL is a lot more daily-able than a GT.

Your assumptions are way off.

It is much bigger than a SLK, 20+ inches longer. R230 SL is about 7 inches shorter. This is the largest SL produced

True, but that's not an issue for folks that just want a cool weekend car.

But that's not what the SL has really ever been. It's a daily and not really sporty.
