2010 335d TPMS??

I just picked up some style #195 wheels that came off a 2010 335 diesel sedan. I put these on my 2008 335xi and the TPMS system isn't resetting or registering. Does the '10 sedan have TPMS? The guy took these off his vehicle right away, and installed winter rims/tires, so they are the same as they came from the factory with the RFT tires.

TPMS sensors changed with the 2010 model year. This change affected the frequency and eliminated the fender mounted sensors.

Hey guys. I am having an issue with my tpms as well. Just to clarify, I took my 08 335xi wheels and put them on my new 2011 335. The tpms is inactive. I cant reset.

Based on this thread, I need new tpms in my wheel tire set up due to changes. Is this correct? Older tmps are not compatible with the new tmps?

Thanks for sharing your experience/expertise in this area.

Correct. The sensors changed with the 2010 model year. The 2010+ sensors cannot be used with earlier cars and pre-2010 sensors cannot be used with later cars.
