You are wrong in Dinan's case. I honestly just read in an article in Roundel that Dinan aftermarket mods/parts add to the resale value of a BMW.

Yes, this does not hold true for a large majority of other manufacturers and after market tuner companies, but Dinan is well known and respected in the BMW community.

EDIT: Sorry, it was not Roundel. It was "Bimmer" magazine Feb 2008. Page 20.

Do you get that magazine Shiv?

It was tough one but no limp or hassle at the dealer made it worth it.

Yeah…I’ve heard that Bimmer magazine is the new “bible” for used car values. I’d like to hear the conversation with someone trading in their Dinan modified car at a dealership.

Yes, and Shiv is a superb source for UNBIASED opinions on anything Dinan.

Look in the back of any Roundel. People proudly list thier Dinan mods and get premium for it.

With procede etc you have a module you can take off and sale... Can something of the sort be done with the dinan flash? Also, if I sale the flash at a later time, does the dinan warranty transfer to the buyer? Based on these answers I will make my appointment at the local dealer to have the flash done.

TIA
Yes.. You can get new OEM ECU to replace your car, once you return back to Dealership. Dealership does not know anything. unless you tell them..

OEM ECU = 3000 to 4000K

thanks
This is still one of the unanswered questions which nobody can seem to get BMWNA or dealers to clarify. A LOT of people are waiting on this answer.
