blew my CP

hi guys recently blew my stock chargepipe I was boosting like 18 psi and I shattered it. I put another stock one, but gonna buy a after market one

anyone recommend the best one for the least price you can get

also should I just get the cp or one with a bov?

what's the use for the bov?

I bought a vrsf--it was easy to put on, was a better price that some others and has worked great.

The most expensive charge pipes don't do anything that Vrsf can't. I installed one on the 135i and plan on buying another for the 535i. Not perfect but it works.

Get the BMS one, slightly better fit and finish (not that it really matters for a pipe) for only few bucks more.

The cheapest proven charge pipe is VRSF.

Evolution Racewerks is the most popular but will cost you more

Please don't put a BOV on your bimmer. It makes that chewchew noise all JDM driver wants.. actually it will reduce the efficiency of your turbo system because you throw cooled compressed air into the atmosphere.

Go with VRSF; stay far away from Cobb on this one.

Yea, Cobb has fitment problems. ER or VRSF are the most popular.

I did a lot of research and settled for the ACTIVE AUTOWERKE CP and BOV KIT
do some research and you should be able to get it for $499 shipped maybe cheaper.

one year later, I am very happy with it. Details pics below:

Haha did the same with mine. Used couple clamps to hold the broken charge pipe until I got new one.

The ER is the highest quality and best fitting pipe and comes with many different options. Did you want to run a BOV, DVs?, do you need meth bungs, do you want it polished, brushed or black finish. Lots of options.

The stock DV system vents back into the intake track, while a BOV vents to atmosphere. Performance wise they are the same. The DVs are silent, and the BOVs make noise. TIAL is pretty quiet and very popular, and the HKS is nice for those guys who want a pronounced BOV sound.

That's what I have on. $179 (for the OEM style) and made in 'Murica, not China, unlike some Various Righteous Sellers Found. Jack's a good guy. How did you hook up with Miami Performance living in Jersey, though?
