Awesome! I have the EVO Comp II and love it. It even took a big hit during a minor accident and never cracked. Looking forward to the EVO III

Very, very, very nice. Big fan of the Wagner Lineup and can't wait to see more! Looks like there maybe an upper mount for better support, something very ideal on an IC this large. The inner air guide is also very intriguing.

Is it bar/plate or tube/fin like the other comps?

*Seems they haven't chosen a core yet. From their instagram:

In collaboration with our friends of MHD Tuning, we decided at the beginning of the year to start the project "WAGNER competition intercooler EVO3" for N54/55 engines of BMW E- series. We are now working in the last moves, so we would now like to give you guys a small preview.

The EVO3 system will be fully tested in the upcoming weeks. Several new innovative core contructions will be installed and measured.

When the EVO3 will be available, depends on the adjustments we have to do after the realtime tests, in order to show you the best possible results after the latest development and production methods.

We promise you two things:
1.) The EVO3 will still be available in 2017.
2.) The performance will blow you away!

Wagner Evo III

I installed the Wagner Evo III intercooler, and haven't seen a lot of people share their experience with it. Matter of fact, I haven't seen a single log or review of the product, no matter how hard I searched.

So here are some logs and my experience with the intercooler.

First off, there is no added turbo lag at all, the car feels even better than ever even off boost. It might be due to the bigger diameter outlet to intercooler connection and the bigger diameter lower chargepipe.

The two logs are both a 3-4 gear 100-200kph pulls.
I had some traction issues on both pulls, but IATs is what we are here for.

First log:

This log is from winter and it was 1026 hPa 3C/38F
IAT start 15C/59F
IAT end at top rpm 42C/107F
End temp-Start temp = 27C
So IAT Increase 27C in this pull
and Started 12C above ambient

https://datazap.me/u/keninger/map-5-...g=0&data=1-4-6

Second log:

This is a current log with the Wagner Evo III installed
1019 hPa 26C/79F
IAT start 31C/87F
IAT end at top rpm 31C/87F
End temp-Start temp = 0C!!!
and during the pull, there was a slight decrease! in IAT
IAT Started 5C above ambient

https://datazap.me/u/keninger/100-20....70&tmax=51.84

I have to say I am really impressed with this intercooler. In shorter pulls, I don't see IAT increase, I mostly see a 2C decrease. At higher speed is where this intercooler shines the most but performs really well at low speeds too.

Here are the ambient and IAT differences in Celcius.
