Why don't you post the part number that you have? Every dust shield has label with the part number on it.
F30 34116872081
F82 34112284744
The Performance dust shields had 34116792237 and 34116792238. So try looking for those. https://www.ebay.com/p/BMW-341167922...1676909&chn=ps

What is wrong with the looks of these calipers?
Lol - doing the switch in a week or so with custom drilled/dimpled 535 rear 545 mm rotors to match fronts, M3 MS, and reading up, and found my old post. Thinking I might had a beer or two too many, or just being ignorant - having the new ones in hand, they are beautiful!

Also, PM me if someone is interested in a great condition 135/performance yellow brake kit with 338/324 discs in great condition, mustard yellow and never tracked and with really good paint. Front pads, and OEM bmw rotors are 4 months old with brand new sensors. Bought it from Tisher.

Feuer, thanks again and lots of great info in here the forum, thanks.

That looks like the F30 dust shield that comes with the sport brake kit.
If you have a 335 there is no need to use that dust shield.

The one that is on the 335 will work fine. It's about the same diameter of the rotor so you won't get much road crap.

I left my originals in place and have not had an issue.
I have the aluminum ones that came in the kit and also the rears if someone wants them.
I left the stock ones in place and modified rears dust shields so the calipers fit.

I've now done this upgrade.

I have an lci 335ie92 and have done the f30 370/380 calipers with the 370mm dimpled and slotted rotors and the e92 performace rear calipers and the rear 130/330 performace dimpled an slotted rotors.

I did the fronts first and ran them for a week and the pedal feel was pretty much oem, same firmness and same amount of travel.

Did the rears this morning and now the pedal is softer and the travel is a lot more noticible.

They work fine and stop well enough, it's just the pedal is not all it could be.

Also when you pump the pedal a few times it goes hard, but then you can feel it drop away a little, like it's realeasing the presure, pretty sure that the oem setup held the pedal firm...

I've read that the e92 m3 Master will fix the soft pedal and the amount of travel, can someone confirm the part number so i dont get the wrong one??

Cheers.

Please tell me how much shipping would be to Campbell, CA in the USA... ? Zip code 95008. I would gladly order at least one pair so that I could finally put the F30 performance rear calipers on my E90 335i...

F30 M Performance Brake Pads

Hello F30 M Performance BBK users,
I've retrofitted F30 M Performance BBK to my E90 335i and after 2000 miles I'm still not happy with the bite. Do you have any advise what better replacement to OEM brake pads just for DD? I felt OEM 335i brakes has better bite than OEM Brembo IMHO. I'm thinking about using EBC red stuff or Akebono? any recommendation?

The OEM pads have good bite like the original 335i ones. Are you sure you dont have another issue?

Ok, all done, Re-bled the brakes and hit the calipers a few times and bingo, firm pedal.

Brakes feel OEM now and feel and work perfectly.

OEM pads and slotted/dimpled discs.

So in my case no need for the m3 MC.
