Well, from all indications thus far (excluding this one guy in Germany) everything points to the F30 components not fitting.

Look, I think we are arguing for the sake of arguing. I said this before: I really want this to work for all of us E90 drivers. And yes, I will admit that I've made a mistake the moment I see someone here in the states doing a complete retrofit WITHOUT any hardware modifications. I have no problems admitting fault.

So you're standing by your ridiculing of anyone considering this when you admit you don't really know if it'll fit or not?

Usually, when the hubs and the spindles are different, it is a clear indication that the rest of it won't be a direct fit. What's your problem here? Do you want an official, notarized stamped letter of apology?

Besides the hub and spindle differing, do you have other evidence they don't fit?

You've said "from all indications except the German dude". What other indications? Anyone else try it?

Thanks,
Rob

I find it interesting that the guy who "wants this to work for all E90 drivers" has now picked a fight with 3 different people that are all trying the help find a solution to the original dilemma

we're all pretty bummmed here, but here is his message:
"That kit won't be on the market anytime soon. We have not finalized our testing and are not 100% satisfy with the fit."

so we need to all stop drooling and look into something else.

i would like to get the caliper upgrade only.

okay, more research leads to the fact they dont fit due to the brake pad size and the a minimum of 19" wheels are required to fit them. what a loss since most of us run 18s dd and 17s at the track.

I skimmed this thread and I have a few questions.

I learned that the F30 BBK Performance package as is will not work because of rotors for 19" wheels. Otherwise, as per the german guy they fit.

1) What about these calipers & F30 Msport rotors upfront, the non slotted & non drilled ones? Do they allow the kit to work with 18 inch an maybe 17 inch wheels?

2) Since the 335i & 330i brakes swap into the 328i, they should work on e82 128i, correct?

I ask because I want a better caliper for the 128i upfront, but not really in need of a BBK and dont want to get 135i calipers.

Bump for updates: Also, If im reading this correctly...people are saying the f30 kit won't fit because it requires 19" wheels, well what if you already run 19" wheels?
