Signed up a little while ago thought now that I've sold my E46 330d Sport and now drive a E92 335i I'd put my first post up as an introduction.

From why I've seen when glancing over some posts there's a decent wealth of knowledge that I hope I can call upon after 7+ years behind my re mapped and tweaked 330d.

Newbie here

Hi Guy's, newbie to this forum. On my second beemer now. The first being a E93 vert, which was a nightmare. Roof leaked, rattled banged and groaned. had the usual petrol engine rebuild (which had no gut's) stop start useless etc etc. Looked fantastic in black when the sun was shining but do not miss it one bit. Must have been a friday afternoon build. So traded it after eight months lost four grand but bought a real Beemer in the E90 318d business edition with 8k on the clock. Ok not a rocket ship but plenty of torque and great on fuel. No creaks and works as it should. love the idrive and particularly voice command and DVD (my son does particularly). Anyway I am sure will post piccies when possible. Cheers!.

Bought my e90 330d today what an amazing car!!! Took a 2 hour drive to London in my e46 318i with the wife an I drove the 330d back and she drove the 318i. Now I've got one problem. Before I bought it and and struck a deal everything was fine but when I was about an hour and half home with only half an hour left a bulb warning flashed up on the dash and the drivers side indicators were giving me the sign of one being out (flashing fast) it wasn't until I got home that I noticed the drivers side angle eyes are also out?

Does this happen when you have a indicator out or is this a common fault

First E90

Morning all, first post!
Just about to chop my E39 Touring 520i and collect an E91 335d. Was convinced I wanted a manual petrol but loved the 335d with its effortless shove. Low revs might take some getting used to as I ride bikes but I can't argue with the performance and mpg.

Hi all,

Newbie here

I'm currently driving an Alpina-D3 MT, always been a bmw fan but wanted a something a little different so I went for the D3 and never looked back.

Hoping to upgrade it for a B5 next year.

I usually post on TheAlpinaRegister.co.uk but there's a numpty (every forum has one) on there that takes over and sticks his nose into every thread so just decided to move on.

Hi All,

Newbie popping in to say hello , Just purchased a E90 330D and love it (especially after coming from a 2.0 SDI golf (non-turbo btw) it was a stop gap between cars)

been browsing the forum for a week or so and got so much stuff I need/want to do. And I must say it seems to be a really friendly forum with no bitching!

I am into my bikes aswell (currently have a Honda fireblade before that had a bored out 1400 custom hayabusa) Dad has a BMW S1000RR (his previous bike was a 520 BHP turbo Hayabusa, his daily drive is a GTR). My brother has a E46 330CI wrapped in matt black with carbon roof and is slammed on the floor (if you like that thing) so I belong to a family of modders!

Looking forward to posting daily and asking all sorts of stupid questions, will get a project thread up and running as soon as I get chance.

Hi,
Would like to say hello to everyone .

i purchased an e90 320d (177) about 6 months ago . is in titanium silver and is the business edition so I have the idrive and loads of other toys on it . it was an ex bmw management car so I think its got a few more extras than usual.

The down side to the car is that it on a 58plate and has 80,000 on the clock but then its been looked after by BMW and serviced and maintained by them . I am looking to change a few things to it to make it my own like putting the 335 exhaust and bumpers on plus a few other things. Will have some pics up soon.

Thank you
Owen

Hi All,

Would just like to say "Hello" too after joining the BMW fold about six weeks ago.

I have an E92 330d M-Sport Auto in Titanium Silver on an '09 plate. It's got the CIC iDrive, Pro Nav and a load of other toys on-board. It's also my first BMW, and so far I'm pretty pleased with it.

It's also my first diesel car. At one time I swore I'd never own one, but figured it was now a necessity as I'm working freelance and could end up doing a lot more miles.

I've come from a Honda S2000 GT, which I had for 6.5 years. The two cars are pretty similar in performance, but night and day in how they drive and go about delivering it.

Cheers,
Paul

Picked up my 335d Touring this afternoon, really impressed so far - it flies! Got E-Maps lined up to remap it soon, can't wait to see what it'll be like then!

After coming from a 1998 E39 I've got to figure out all the gadgets though! Also seems too nice to let the dogs in it but that was the point of an estate!
