If the BMW replaced it with an "upgraded" connection, I'd say boost away. Worst thing that happens is it breaks and then you can go right back and show them it didn't work.

Thats it....next mode is upgrading to STETT DV CP or alteast have it on the side when needed

That was my feeling too. So I did and it's tight. BMW didn't even mention the new part in their serice invoice writeup. Just "reclamped the conenction". My guess is they are aware of it enough to know how and why it should be fixed.
