Should these 2 openings be open, or is it originaly 1 closed 1 open?

Hello, i was putting my air scoops in amd i saw that the left opening is closed, should that be open if so i would like some help.

Yeah its 318d. If i would it make open would it do some damage or dont?

It won't damage anything, no. Won't help either, but nor will the air scoops you've just installed.

I know for the scoop, they are only on cause i like the look of it

. Would cold air intake help anything?

In my opinion, no. Or at least it wouldn't be significant. The most significant change you could probably make is have a reputable company remap it for you

I remaped it already but i think its not enough, i would like more out of it if its possible. I did some other visual modifications to the car so i dont want to sell it because it would be a waste of money and it grew to my heart so idk
