limit is 152 in my car, which works out to 144 according to my Garmin. I am not sure which one is the most accurate, but it's nice getting there.

I discovered my winter wheels are about 4 mph off on average, getting worse as I get past 130 or so. The summer tires are 3 MPH off on average. I just wish it was dead on accurate, but it matters not since the nanny won't let me go faster anyway. I hope the PROceed 2.0 update will get rid of the limiter.

335i definitely needs a 7th gear. I'll be severely disapointed if the M3 doesn't have a 7 speed.
I'm guessing the Procede doesn't uncap the govenor? Anyone know if Dinan's will? And the Corvette is the only American car to be proud of. |

Dinan's what? So far, Dinan has nothing for the 335i.

As far as Dinan goes maybe, maybe not. I know performance software they've sold in the past for other models (the E46 M3 for example) have removed the limiter but that's not a guarantee they will for anything 335 related. |

I don't think I'm actually realizing how fast 160mph is. I went 140mph before and that was nerve racking enough. Maybe the govenor is a good thing. Crazy Corvette people. I think it's just nice to be able to say you could go x fast
And I heard around from the guys at LB BMW that Dinan was cooking up some nice mods and parts for the 335i. |

Nah, the car will have enough gearing to do better than 160, maybe 180-190, but I dont know about the power. Maybe 178mph.

http://www.caranddriver.com/roadtest...ecs-page4.html BTW, car has .30 drag coefficient, which is not bad. But I'd be concerned about stability at high speed with the stock setup. The shear weight of the car helps a lot. |

I actually had the same thought about the rear of the vette with the panel flex, but it's just an ignorant complaint to me. Having sat on it, a Vette will probably be my next car. I've always had a Chevy and the interiors aren't the greatest, but they're improving greatly all around. |

Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo and Mosler MT900S are superior imo. I believe the Atom 2 counts as a US car as well, but it's practicality is limited compared to the aforementioned cars.
