You should get a built engine before going too wild Brule. It would be a shame to see you damage the turbo, etc with the shrapnel from a blown engine which is on the cards with boost pressures exceeding 30 psi.

I know it will pop at 30psi.
Its not like a set of rbs or 6266 the 7675 flows some air.

It will make alot of power per psi. Big turbo, 3 inch pipes, good intercooler and good intake manifold.
20psi might be enough for a 10 second pass.

Been working on the car.

Wired the jb4 port injection. Had to change injector plugs and wire the blank wires into the jb4.

Started making intercooler pipe to inlet manifold.
I got it tacked up with 2 meth bungs and bov.

Ill weld it up tomorrow.

Still need a couple of fuel fittings.
Need new vacuum lines.
Re mount power steering and need another coolant tank maybe a turner motorsports one.
Heaps of work to do. Around 30 hours of work is my guess.

Yes. Enquired about a sleeved block last week.
3k delivered.
Just spent around 5k getting port injection and parts for it.
My next spend will be rods pistons and maybe a block.

Welded the charge pipe up. Got the bov welded on.
Got the vacuum lines sorted to throttle body and vacuum pump hpfp.

Accidentally broke the water nipple off the coolant pipe. I tapped a new fitting but the pipe is pretty thin and might leak. Ordered a new pipe.

Power steering will fit pretty easy but coolant tank is a bit big no matter which way I fit it.

To get it running Im waiting for npt fittings and vacuum hose for bov and methanol boost reference and a couple of AN fittings. Still need to get some nicer tape for the extended wiring on the map sensor and drive by wire cable.

Maybe next week..

Installed gauge on fuel regulator.
I had the hoses in the wrong way and the gauge port was against the wheel arch I pretty much took off each fitting and did it again.

Installed a set of new plugs.

I re did the broken nipple and should be water tight until the new one turns up.

Just waiting for 2 -AN fittings to arrive and its all go. -8 to -6 out of fuel rail and a compression fitting to go through top of fuel top hat.

..........

I was getting a bit scared everytime I let off the boost thinking the compressor wheel was going to explode when I let off.

So im happy I got a blow off valve on now.
How goods the inlet manifold?? 10/10 I reckon

Once you get past 500hp no mod is worth the money on a n54.

Atleast now all parts on the car are rated over 1000hp except the engine itself.

Took the 7675 off.

Putting the 6266 on now.

Should be up and running midweek with port injection.

Im going to take it to the dyno to tune it.
Not going for specific boost or hp number.
Just using e85 using jb4 maps to see how it responds with a bit of fuel. Ill record dragy numbers and put it up for sale. The entire 6266 setup including oil lines or whatever the person wants.

Them I'm making a single scroll manifold for the 7675 and see how it goes.
And ive got another t4 divided manifold started using stock turbo manifolds. Ill leave that until someone wants it.

Got it back together with port injection working.

Only done a few runs but the 6266 feels like im back on a set of rbs with the quicker spool.

Just set up a boost reference to the in tank regulator. worked well. Set it at 72 psi on idle shoots up with boost with 1:1 like it should.

When I get a couple of fittings this week ill add the second regulator.

Looking to test it a bit tomorrow to learn how to tip fuel in.

Good to hear you have it all going again Brule. It will interesting to see what it does on the dyno.

Jb4 is so kryptic is dangerous.

I have read the entire 57 port injection thread and it gives you 75% of what you need. I wrote all the important bits down as I was going.

Lucky I wrote coil cut in flash settings. couldnt see it on my mhd.
I didnt realise you had to update mhd manually. My mhd is from 2017. I swear it used to update auto and its nothing i ever looked into.

I went for a drive last night to check if it was working.
pi is flowing i think... fuel enrich works on log but meth trace is zero.
jb4 i structions are very light and hard to know what the current settings are.

Just got new mhd and loading it up now for a test.
Sounds like it sucking alot of air on tip in and feels like it coasts up to speed with less load.
no wot yet..

my brand new water fitting is leaking which is a mc fn joke.

Just went for a bit of a test.
Trims are just about maxed out on spool.
Pi wont start injecting until 4500rpm even though it should start at 3000rpm.

After its on boost the fuel trims drop and are making afr on target.
Just tried map 1, 2 and 3.
You can feel more power.
The afrs are targeted a bit richer and the hpfp is much higher, lpfp goes up to 85-90psi or so on boost so that equals about 70psi at the hpfp.

Just need this fuel sorted on spool up and get boost down a couple of psi to on target on spool.

Ill book a dyno this week to tune it.
