You need to code out telematic from your car, then change VIN using Tool32 to match with the car that was originaly equipped in Interent without telematic to let the combox connect to internet using BT tethering.
So it won't be your VIN, but some donnor VIN. |

Thanks. Do you happen to know which variable needs to be changed within tool32? What module does this update? Any risk of impacting existing functions if cic is retrofitted w emulator? |

Look in U.S. car auction portals, as example
http://copart.com/c2/copart_home_page.html It is usual in U.S. to specify a VIN. And they are whitelisted for Internet via Bluetooth. I have picked a 2011 vin, becuase I was not sure, if the older vins alos work. Then just use NCS expert (Do Steps to "change VO" and when the window appears with VIN, enter thisn new vin with "calculate checksum" checked" and calculate a Checksum for this vin and write it via tool32 |

If you are new to coding you might want to just pay someone to do the coding for you.

You can do it when you buy a new Combox telematics and code this in your dealer. But it costs a lot of money. Why you need online, your car is out of warranty, so it isn't necessary.

ok you need to change your VO code combox code CIC and like i said this is way over your head as you don't seem to know how to code. find someone in France that knows how to code or contact BimmerTech for remote coding.
